Episode 40 – The End of Time, Pt. 3

Written by Judd Lynn and Jackie Marchand
Directed by Koichi Sakamoto

Summary: Red Ranger is greatly outnumbered by Cyclobots. Jen, Lucas, Trip and Katie take the Time Force Megazord in Jet Mode and time shift to the year 2001. They use Cyclone Defense to create a tornado and Doomtron is catapulted away. The five Rangers together manage to destroy all of the Cyclobots.

Doomtron has been knocked offline but Frax works to get it back up and running again. Nadira wants Ransik to stop fighting and for them to leave to another Time now but Ransik tells her that they won’t leave until every human is destroyed. Gluto freezes himself into a Cryo-Containment Unit.

Trip adjusts the Quantum Defender’s laser for Wes to neutralize the crystal. Doomtron returns and the four form Time Force Megazord Mode Red to give Wes time to neutralize the crystal. Red Ranger fires a concentrated beam at the Q-Rex and the yellow Trizirium Crystal is successfully turned into a Laser-Induced Blue Trizirium Crystal, making the Q-Rex even more powerful. Red Ranger and Q-Rex combine power and destroy both Doomtron and Frax. And all the vortexes in the sky close. Nadira finds a baby.

Ransik is now alone and faces the Rangers himself. He easily takes them down and even defeats the Red Battle Warrior but injures himself in the process. Jen manages to stand back up to face Ransik and promises him that she will bring him back. But with the others too injured to get back up, Ransik sees it only as an empty promise. So Jen has Ransik follow after her as she drags herself away and hides in an abandoned factory. Ransik spots movement and fires but then realizes that something is wrong. It wasn’t Jen that Ransik blasted at as she suddenly comes out from behind him and blasts him down. Ransik then discovers that it was his own daughter Nadira and a baby he had blasted at. But luckily they are both okay. Realizing that his hatred nearly cost him the one person he truly loves, he chooses to listen to his daughter and he gives himself up to pay for what he’s done and Jen places Time Force handcuffs on him.

Jen and her team are returning to the year 3000 now that their mission is complete. Lucas, Trip, Katie and Circuit say bye to Wes and enter the Time Ship. Jen gives Wes her Badge to remember her by and walks off. But then she suddenly stops and rushes back over to him and they hug. And she finally tells him that she loves him and Wes finally tells her that he loves her. Jen returns to the ship and the ship takes off. Mr. Collins offers Wes a business proposition to be leader of the Silver Guardians and explains that he wants to make some changes in the Silver Guardians and they will protect the entire city…for free. Wes accepts but explains that he wants Eric as his partner and both Mr. Collins and Eric happily accept.
