Episode 36 – Circuit Unsure

Written by Judd Lynn and Jackie Marchand
Directed by Worth Keeter

In Memory of Thuy Trang

Summary: The team asks Circuit to reveal to them something from the future but Circuit explains that he isn’t allowed to access that information. Circuit gives in and discovers time vortexes appearing in the sky. Alex erases Circuit’s history databanks to keep them from learning about the future. Circuit doesn’t know why he’s suddenly unable to access the files.

Ransik is almost out of mutants. Frax is busy building more robots to be powered with Trizirium Crystals. Circuit begins to feel useless and worries that he will continue to malfunction. Circuit leaves the Clock Tower and the team goes out to search for him. Trip locates Circuit. The two hear an explosion and see smoke coming from the Space Center. Cyclobots and mutant Serpicon are invading the Space Center. Serpicon activates the self-destruct program to destroy the building in 60 minutes. People inside the building are tied down. Trip and Circuit sneak their way in to the mainframe computer to try and shut down the self-destruct program. The Silver Guardians arrive at the Space Center. Serpicon accidentally triggers reduction to the countdown and it is reduced to 3 minutes. Quantum Ranger intercepts Serpicon. The Rangers struggle to keep an exit door from closing. Time runs out, but all exit doors must be closed before self-destruct can be completed. Circuit refuses to help Trip as he is too worried that he will malfunction. Alex informs Circuit that he erased his history databanks and he is functioning fine. Pink and Blue Rangers rescue the people. Quantum Ranger weakens Serpicon. Circuit overwrites the self-destruct. Serpicon makes himself grow and Quantum Ranger forms Quantasaurus Rex Megazord. Serpicon blasts Circuit, and Circuit is unable to call for the Zords. The Rangers summon the Time Jet and attack Serpicon. Serpicon is recaptured by Quantasaurus Rex Megazord’s Max Blizzard finisher.
