Episode 10 – Future Unknown

Written by Judd Lynn and Jackie Marchand
Directed by Judd Lynn

Summary: Furious at Frax for sending a robot to destroy the Rangers, Ransik blasts Frax and tells him that only a mutant has the power to destroy the Rangers and that all robots are useless. Frax discovers the X-Vault where the most vicious of criminals were locked up.

Circuit and the team discover that the Raimei Destroyer originally never existed and was only invented to defend against Ransik’s attacks, altering the course of history. Katie and the others worry that their futures, their friends, family and everything, may be changed.

Frax reanimates the X-Vault mutant Vexicon and sends him into the city. The Rangers intercept Vexicon, but he easily takes them down and continues his rampage through the city, and the Rangers are demorphed. Katie and the others worry that their future may be gone, but they find reason to keep fighting. The Rangers catch-up to Vexicon and weaken him with the Vortex Blaster, but he makes himself grow. They form Time Force Megazord Mode Red, and the Time Shadow appears. Vexicon easily takes on both Megazords, and the Rangers switch to Mode Blue. Circuit receives new data, and the Rangers combine Time Force Megazord Mode Blue with the Time Shadow Megazord to form Shadow Force Megazord Mode Blue. Vexicon is recaptured, and the Zords return to the future.

Ransik confronts Frax again, but this time is pleased with him for sending a mutant which almost destroyed the Rangers, allowing Frax to continue his secret scheming.
